The ideal months to visit Amber Mountain National Park (Parc National Montagne d’Ambre) are the shoulder months: April to May and October to November. Lemurs can be spotted throughout the year, but the park is especially known for its variety of chameleons, and they can be harder to find in the coldest months of the Dry season from June to September. The wettest months from January to March can include downpours that interfere with activities.
