Ambosseli, has lots of animal herds (zebras, elephants, wilderness,...). The elephants are particularly impressive from close. We saw a few birds and a lion family, in the end stole the show. Wish we had close access to the water points. We spotted some hippos from far, but couldn't be close enough. There's a lot of dust, especially hard when another car passed us by.
What we saw there was picturesque: I took national geographic-like pictures with my phone!

amazing groups of elephants and only the view of Kilimangiaro is enough to visit Amboseli park

Amboseli is an incredible place with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop to the many herds of elephants. You come here for the elephants and the scenic views and it did not disappoint. In addition we were fortunate that we were able to see a pride of Lions feasting on a wildebeest.
Kibo which was a tented camp was incredible and gave that bush vibe. Plenty of birding here. Also if you are into the night sky as an astronomer I will tell you I have never seen the Milky Way light up like it did here!!

Animals in large herds. Farther from road. Not many cut through roads. Flamingos were amazing.

During our two days here, the park was a bit quiet. We see the usual, but not the big beast like lions etc. Though the bird scene here is amazing!

There weren't as many animal species in Amboseli as that in Masai Mara, but we took many wonderful pictures of elephants with snow-covered-Kilimanjaro. And there were more birds, beautiful.

There is a classic view of Africa with an elephant walking across the open grassland beside a solitary acacia tree. In the background, soaring into the sky like a triumphant Christmas pudding is the rounded bulk of Mt Kilimanjaro. we stayed a Kibo Safari Camp. Probably the best Hotel Every room its a luxury tent. We paid for all meals included . Safaris early in the morning and in the afternoon. Easy to spot the wild animals and since i was there mosly for birding, my guide was probably the most expert birding guide in all kenya. Im dying to go back soon. Masai people are very friendly and proud of been the best guard to keep you safe at night if you like to take a walk on the hotel ground after dark.
