Ankarafantsika National Park can be visited year-round, but the best time depends on what you’d most like to see. Lemur sightings are possible at any time, while crocodiles are easiest to spot during the middle and end of the Dry season from July to October. The park is especially known for reptiles and birds, and these are best seen after the first rains in November and into December. From January to March it tends to be oppressively hot.
