The optimal time for a visit to Augrabies Falls National Park is during the cooler winter months from April to September. This is also when the popular three-day Klipspringer Trail is open. Augrabies has a semi-arid climate and summer months can get incredibly hot. The waterfall is particularly impressive when in flood, usually from February to April.
