Your point of entry to Madagascar will most likely be Ivato International Airport (TNR) in the capital city of Antananarivo (Tana). Your tour operator will pick you up from the airport and usually handles all onward travel.
Berenty Private Reserve is in southern Madagascar. Visitors to this part of the country usually fly to Taolagnaro (Fort Dauphin). Berenty lies about 90km/55mi west of the city. The road is notoriously bad and the drive takes around 3 hours*.
