We saw many animals on our game drive in Chobe National Park on our first evening. The sunset over the Chobe River is fantastic and so is the herds of elephants crossing the Chobe River.

Botswana seems to really understand conservation through eco-tourism. Our guides helped us understand and uphold the ethos, "take only photographs, leave only footprints," which enhanced not diminished our experience. I'd love to return.
Chobe National Park was the the quintessential Safari Park...saw all animals up close and personal!
We camped in the park for 2 nights and 3 full days....very rustic but amazing. We had elephants walk right past our tents and there was a wart hog in our camp one morning. The most amazing sight was two massive lionesses chasing down a cape buffalo and taking him down while a pride of 15 lions waited for the kill and then came in for the feast! Our guide was fabulous.

Botswana is magic because of the number of animals and not numerous tourists!
Well Chobe offers many animals, Okowango delta offers different new animals and bush vibes and the south is amazing landscapes, baobabs and the guides where without exception all wonderful - very competent and so kind - a truly wonderful experience - Africa we will be back some day!!

Botswana is one of the most incredible places to visit, amazing safari parks and a general high standard of service and accommodation. My favourite place out of the 4 countries I visited (South Africa/Namibia/Zimbabwe).
A must destination for anyone interested in a safari destination
When the first question your guide asks is 'what would you like for sundowner drinks?' and the second is 'what do you want to see?' - you know that the service level will be high. Kwara and Lebala luxury camps delivered on exceptional service and fantastic food with a smile. 5 days of action packed morning and afternoon safaris with lots of wildlife. Light planes between camps meant little downtime. Botswana was the first of our 3 safari destinations and it ranks 1 for all of the above. I can only highly recommend as a holiday destination.

Most lekker trip ever!
It was the best trip we ever could have imagined! Botswana was unlike some of the other African countries we had visited. It seemed to have "it's shit down" more so than some of the neighbouring countries. People were super friendly and helpful and your just felt quite at home!
Everything was perfect about this safari, except the season. We've been there at the end of still wet season, with too much water around and too tall grass to hide for wildlife. Did not spot big cats at all. However, a lot of hypos, zebras, giraffes, elephants, different kinds of antelopes, beautiful birds.
