Beautiful nature and authentic wildlife
We did a 2-day safari in Chobe National Park from Victoria Falls. We'd heard that the eastern part of the park can have quite high traffic at times, but that was not our experience at all. Our safari guide was super friendly and knowledgeable, and saw amazing wildlife at very close distance. Highly recommend.

Beautiful safari in the Okavango Delta
The safari around the Okavango Delta was amazing. It was a completely different experience to a traditional safari. We got do a river cruise in a small boat too and saw so many hippos! It was incredible. We also drove around some of the reserves and saw lots of wildlife, sadly no big cats as the weather was a bit rainy (we did go during rainy season) but apart from that we still saw loads of animals - buffalo, giraffe, hippos, ostrich, elephants, jackals etc! We stayed in great accommodation by the Boteti river in tents but had a proper bed and shower and toilet facilities. It was a great experience and we would highly recommend Botswana! We will certainly be back!!

My new most favourite place in the world!
We went to Botswana with no expectations whatsoever, only knowing that the safari at Chobe could be a good experience. It turned out to be one of the most amazing trips we have ever done. The park, the nature, the animals - everything was juts spectacular. We camp in Chobe for 3 days and LT (our guide) was so knowledgeable of the park that it made the visit so much better. The hospitality was great and we are definitely looking forward visiting Botswana again!!

Extremely rich wildlife, unbelievable diversity and number of exotic animals, kind, generous people
It was great, never forgettable experience!
First, the company “Kalahari Tours” and its personnel in the office. Open, friendly, obliging. We entered the office, not particularly knowing what we actually want and how they can be useful for us. We wanted to see as much of Africa as possible! The lady-manager and the lady – partner listened to us and worked out ideal, as it turned out, plan for us for three days – from that moment to the departure in the airport. We had wonderful lunch there. And it all was much cheaper than we had anticipated before! And considerably cheaper than in other companies! Early in the morning the next day a car took us from our hotel and we met Mr. T. , as he introduced himself (his name is Tshenolo). He showed us round the national park. First, he loves his country and is proud of it. Otherwise, he would fail to make us love Botswana. We learned a lot from him about its history, politics, traditions. Secondly, he knows no end of interesting things about animals and birds. He tried his best to show us as many animals as he could. The number of lions, elephants, zebras, buffalos, hippos, giraffes that we saw much exceeded our expectations! The Chobe park is extremely rich in animal world, amazingly! Tshenolo took us to far-away corners of the park to show us a herd of zebras because we asked him! Great guy Mr. T, he made the safari the brightest impressions of our lives. Generally, the safari was arranged ideally. We could spend any time in the park that we could afford – from three hours to ten days, the formation of groups is very flexible. The boat trip on the Kwando river was fantastic, we saw herds of elephans, we failed to conut how many of them! We failed to count how many hippos we saw! But later, in savanna, we counted the lions in the pride – 18! Two nights in savanna sleeping in tents was for us great experience. The food was very tasty. The sanitary conditions were very good. The main thing, it all was absolutely safe! After three days, Mr. T took us to the office in Kasane. They served us very tasty lunch and took us to the air-port. “Kalahari Tours” is a very customer oriented, friendly company, their prices are surprisingly low, their people are professional, hard-working, obliging. We thank them with all our hearts. Yuri and Olga, St. Petersburg, Russia.

A glimpse of paradise!
In 2022 I decided to spend the festive season in Botswana, and after a few google searches and email exchanges, I decided to stay at the Boteti Tented Safari. My decision led to the best festive season that I have had in my adult life. During my five-day stay at Boteti, I had a number of activities which included canoeing at sunset at the Boma river, canoeing and walking at the Okavango Delta, a full day at the Moremi Game Reserve and a helicopter view of the Okavango Delta. The sunrise and sunset at the river deck was one of the best parts of my days. The fauna and flora diversity are immense.

Beautiful Botswana!
I am a South African and visited Botswana for the first time in October 2022. Botswana had been on my bucket list for over a decade and now, I wish I had visited sooner! It is a beautiful country, their people are kind and helpful, fluent in English and easy to converse with. I visited three Kwando Safaris camps and loved each camp. The camps are unfenced and the wildlife experience is second to none - elephants walking through camp, buffalos, warthogs, antelope, amazing birdlife and more. The most beautiful scenery and landscapes - perfect for photography! The animal life is abundant, and in the private concessions, game viewing isn't crowded, it's private and perfect. You're often/ always the only safari vehicle at any one sighting. The experience was personal, exceeded my wildest expectations. Safari drives, mokoro on the rivers, fishing, motor boats in the Delta - all spectacular.
Food and drinks are endless, sunsets are magnificent (you HAVE to see an African sunset!), afternoons are long and lazy. Each camp having a swimming pool, lovely to laze at (with the passing elephant every so often!).
Bear in mind, that October is known to be Botswana's warmest month, with little to no rain (waiting for the November rains, which cools the ground). The days were hot - about 40 dgs C, but it cooled down relatively at night. I still loved it - I love African heat! The Delta was dry, and so was the bushveld, making it easier to find animals. But due to the dryness, sand and bushveld fires, the atmosphere was hazy (but you don't really notice this, unless you're processing protos and hope for a crystal clear environment).
I felt safe all of the time, from landing at Maun airport to my journey back home.
My suggestion: Botswana must be on your bucket list, visit it! You won't regret it, it's a magical experience from start to finish. I can't wait to go back!!!
