Day 1

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your Arusha hotel. Thereafter, depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Arrive in time for a game drive during which a fantastic array of birdlife can be seen including flamingos that breed in the Lake’s alkaline waters. The park also offers a spectacular view of the Great Rift Valley and the fig forest here is a good place to see monkeys and some of the 350 species of birds that have been recorded here. With luck, you may spot the tree-climbing lions for which the park is famous. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Twiga Campsite.

Day 2

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

After your breakfast you will proceed to Serengeti. The Serengeti also houses the glorious “Big 5” (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard). Along with the “Big 5”, a very pleasant sighting would be one of Africa’s most beautiful animals – The Impala. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa. In Seronera, one must really look out for the many lion prides that thrive in this region. You must also look out for the Serengeti “Kopjes” which are massive boulders of granite standing in a sea of grass. They provide ample shelter to a large variety of flora and fauna. A picnic lunch will be done during the day long game drive itself. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation. Dinner and Overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park Game Drives

After breakfast check out with packed lunch for a full day game. Serengeti is without a doubt the finest National Park in the whole of Tanzania. All year round large herds of buffalo’s smaller herds of elephant plus giraffes, in addition to millions of antelopes including elands, topi, impalas, Kongoni as well as the Grant's gazelles. If you are lucky you will easily see the 3 big cats. Lions can as well be seen often enjoying a kill or resting. Also, in the southeastern plains, you will be able to regularly see Cheetahs if you are lucky, whereas leopards may be seen resting in the giant trees on the banks of River, after game drive later. Dinner and Overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 4

After an early morning breakfast you will check-out, with a packed lunch, and take off on a final game drive inside the Serengeti. You will enjoy your packed lunch as you make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will arrive at the crater rim in the late afternoon or early evening. You will check-in at your accommodations, have a sundowner and relax while you wait in for dinner. After dinner you will turn in for the night at Simba Campsite.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast you will check-out and leave camp, with a picnic lunch, to experience the most amazing game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. You will drive around the rim and descend to the crater floor. You will spend the entire day in the crater viewing the wide variety of animals and enjoying your picnic lunch, at a specified site while you view the wildlife. Later in the afternoon you will ascend back to the top of the crater rim and leave Ngorongoro. You will be dropped off at Arusha.
