Dar es Salaam to Saadan

You will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam early in the morning and leave for Saadani National Park. The drive will take you about 3-4 hours. On arrival, a hot lunch will be provided. Saadani is where the beach meets the bush. You will rest at the beachside until 3:30 pm when you leave for a sunset game drive. Saadani is the only wildlife sanctuary in East Africa right on the Indian Ocean beachfront so that you can enjoy Tanzania’s tropical coastline and wildlife simultaneously.

Saadani Morning Game Drive Evening Boat Safari

The early sunrise game drive in this park starts at 6:00 am. Come back to the bandas for a full breakfast, and after breakfast, leisure and rest at the Indian Ocean beach. Late afternoon, leave for a boat safari at the Wami River in the south to the Mligaji River in the north. You’ll need plenty of time to explore, and your guide will take you to the best places for game viewing and scenery. You’ll also enjoy a boat safari on the Wami River today. After sunset, you will return to the bandas for dinner and overnight.

Saadani Park to Dar es Salaam

Before breakfast, we will go for a wilderness walking safari in the morning. Walking gives you a particularly intimate feel for the African wilds. Walking safaris offer a good chance to see giraffes, zebra, elephants, and birds. It starts in the morning with the guidance of an armed ranger. You will then drive off to Dar es Salaam and arrive late afternoon. You will be dropped off at home, the airport, the ferry, or the hotel you choose.
