You will drive from Arusha to one of the largest Tanzanian parks, Tarangire National Park for a game drive. It will take about 2 hours(120 km) to reach there. Then you will have a picnic lunch in the park, followed by an afternoon game drive. The park is well known for its varied landscape which is scattered with huge knotted baobab trees and is home to herds of elephants, lions, leopards, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes. You will stay overnight at the Panorama Campsite.

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park. A picnic lunch will be provided. On the way, you may stop (at extra cost) at the Olduvai Gorge Museum to see artifacts from Olduvai Gorge. Here anthropologists Louis and Mary Leaky made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. In the afternoon, you will go on a game drive at Serengeti National Park. You will stay overnight at the Seronera Campsite.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
You will go for an early game drive. If you’re lucky, you will be able to see some cats like lions, lionesses, leopards, and cheetahs among others returning from hunting. You will drive back at around 10:30 a.m., to put down tents and pack. Then you will have a nice meal before departing. You will enjoy more game drives on your way to Ngorongoro Crater. You have the option of visiting Maasai Boma if you are interested. You will stay overnight at Simba Campsite which is located on the rim of the crater.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, you will go on an adventurous drive into the crater for a wonderful game drive and a picnic lunch next to the lake. Ngorongoro Crater is a World Heritage Site and a must-see. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater floor, Ngorongoro Crater has the highest diversity of animals worldwide. Among of the species are lions, cheetahs, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, hyenas, and black rhinos. After the game drive, you will drive up to the camp, pack your things, and drive back to Arusha town.
