After breakfast, you'll head to Arusha National Park for a game drive and a leisurely walking safari. This park is conveniently situated just 32 kilometers (20 miles) northeast of Arusha. It spans an area of 137 square kilometers (58 square miles) and is known locally as “Serengeti ndogo", which means "little Serengeti.” The park is encircled by the majestic peaks of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru, which can be admired on clear days. Notably, Arusha National Park is the sole park boasting seven alkaline lakes, and you’ll be able to canoe in them between 2:00 and 4:00pm.
The park's mascot, the black and white Colobus monkey, can be spotted gracefully leaping from tree branch to tree branch. Additionally, you'll encounter blue monkeys, olive baboons, elephants, hippos, leopards, hyenas, zebras, and various antelope species. Arusha National Park is also renowned for its rich avian life, with a staggering 400 species of both migratory and resident birds.

Arusha National Park - Tarangire National Park
After having breakfast, we’ll transfer to Tarangire National Park, where we will partake in some truly rewarding game drives. The park boasts one of the highest elephant population densities in all of Tanzania. Its striking, sparse landscape, adorned with iconic baobab and acacia trees, renders it a truly unique and magnificent destination. Before the rainy season, vast herds of gazelle, wildebeest, zebra, and giraffes migrate to Tarangire National Park's open scrub plains, which features the last remaining grazing land.

Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park
In the morning, we’ll drive the short distance to Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, we’ll explore the charming Mto wa Mbu village, where we'll visit farms and a children's center in an area that is home to more than 115 diverse communities. In the afternoon, we’ll set out on a game drive in the park, which is known for its abundant elephant and baboon populations. If luck is on our side, we may catch a glimpse of the park's famous tree-climbing lions and rich birdlife (depending on migration trends).
We'll enjoy a picnic lunch within the park. In the late afternoon we’ll leave the park and make our way to the Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park
Today you’ll eat breakfast with a breathtaking view of Lake Manyara from the lodge. Afterward, you’ll make your way towards Serengeti National Park via a game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon reaching the Serengeti, you’ll go on another game drive before having dinner and your overnight stay at the Central Serengeti Luxury Camp.

Our exploration of the expansive Serengeti plains continues as we search for massive herds of herbivores roaming the plains. Amidst this captivating spectacle, hungry predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, eagerly seek to prey upon the weakest members of these herds. We’ll conclude the day with dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, we’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through some of the most picturesque landscapes in the region along the way. En route you will have the unique opportunity to explore a small settlement of bomas, which are traditional Maasai houses arranged in a circular pattern. Here, you'll gain insight into how these former warriors and cattle herders have adapted to the modern world while retaining their cultural heritage within today's Tanzania. You’ll experience traditional Maasai dancing and have the chance to purchase handcrafted bead jewelry. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
You will spend the full day on a highly rewarding wildlife viewing experience in the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on Earth, spanning approximately 260 square kilometers. Its towering walls rise 600 meters from the crater floor. Before the Ngorongoro volcano erupted and subsequently collapsed two million years ago, it was one of the world’s tallest mountains.
Today, the crater serves as sanctuary for over 30,000 large mammals, including gazelle, buffalo, eland, hartebeest, and warthog. It also boasts the highest predator density in the world. Later in the day, we'll drive back to Arusha, which will conclude your safari.
