Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll depart from Nairobi in the morning at 8.00 am and head southward to the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. You will continue to Narok a small Maasai town for lunch then to Masai Mara for an afternoon game viewing. Your dinner and your overnight stay will be at Miti Mingi Eco Camp in Masai Mara.

Masai Mara National Reserve

You will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives from the comfortable base of the camp. You'll get to explore the park's amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including the migrants, over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August, and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeests and zebras, there is also resident wildlife year-round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Your picnic lunch will be served in the park. Your dinner and your overnight stay will be at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Amboseli Park Game Drives

After the main breakfast, depart the camp/lodge for your full day game viewing a day of game drives in this park, which dust devils swirl around the edges, but in the heart of the park is an amazing swamp which elephants and hippos are in abundance. A visit to the observation hill will follow where you Male zebras fight to get a mate will look out the glistering majestic snow-cap of Mt Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is justly famous both for big game elephants, which are the most studied in the world.

Amboseli National Park to Arusha

Have your final game drive as you check out the park, drive to Namanga border which is between Kenya and Tanzania, at this point you will get your visa which normally takes like 30min to process just in case you don’t have one, then after the migration formalities you proceed on to Arusha via a shuttle bus arriving late afternoon with a drop off at Arusha Hotel for overnight.

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Early morning pickup Arusha and depart for Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. As you enter the national park, lush forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees begin to set the mood for what is waiting ahead. The game drive will go on till evening with a small break for picnic lunch. During the game drive watch out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons and the blue monkeys. Another spectacle of Lake Manyara National park is the tree climbing lions, however spotting them is a game of luck. In the right season, you can see the shoreline turning pink with millions of flamingos flocking there. Post the game drive, you will head back to your camp/lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

After your breakfast you will proceed to Serengeti. The Serengeti also houses the glorious “Big 5” (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard). Along with the “Big 5”, a very pleasant sighting would be one of Africa’s most beautiful animals – The Impala. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa. In Seronera, one must really look out for the many lion prides that thrive in this region. You must also look out for the Serengeti “Kopjes” which are massive boulders of granite standing in a sea of grass. They provide ample shelter to a large variety of flora and fauna. A picnic lunch will be done during the day long game drive itself. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.

After breakfast you will check-out and leave camp, with a picnic lunch, to experience the most amazing game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. You will drive around the rim and descend to the crater floor. You will spend the entire day in the crater viewing the wide variety of animals and enjoying your picnic lunch, at a specified site while you view the wildlife. Later in the afternoon you will ascend back to the top of the crater rim and leave Ngorongoro. You will be dropped off at Arusha.
