Arrival and transfer to Musanze

You will be picked up from the airport or your Hotel in Kigali in a private vehicle. Then, you'll drive to Volcanoes National Park, known for gorilla tracking. Your guide will also take you on a tour of Kigali, the vibrant capital city featuring bustling markets and the famous mountainous landscape. Depending on the time, you will visit the genocide memorial site in Gikondo. Arrive late in the afternoon in Musanze. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Mountain Gorillas Tracking in Volcanoes National Park

You will wake up early at 6.00 Am this morning and drive to Volcanoes National Park Station for the upcoming gorilla trek. Trekking the mountain gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take two to six hours, but it is worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will share interesting facts about flora, fauna, and the lifestyle of the gorillas. You will spend one hour with the gorillas. Later, you will visit the Ibyawacu Cultural Center and learn how to dance the traditional dance of Rwandans. After Lunch, depart for Kigali. End of the tour.
