Waterberg Plateau Park

You will be met by our Safari Guide and then depart for the Waterberg Plateau Park. The Waterberg area offers breathtaking views and an adventure you won’t forget. In the afternoon you will reach the Waterberg Wilderness Lodge where you will check-in and then enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch you will have several activities to take part in before returning to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Waterberg Plateau Park

After an early breakfast you will head out, on foot, into the reserve. Despite the extreme conditions of the region, it is still rich with a variety of wildlife, especially around the watering holes. The goal and aim today is to track the Rhinos by Foot. You will stop in the afternoon and enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush. After lunch the trail leads you along the mountain ridges of our base camp that have already been set out for you. After your walk you will enjoy a well deserved hot shower in the bush camp and then take in the beautiful view over the Kalahari Desert with a sundowner drink, while our staff prepares dinner over an open campfire. You will dine under the stars and enjoy the romance of the fire until the wildlife calls of the nights fade away and you fall asleep.

Waterbrg and Windhoek

The morning calls of the birds will wake you up at sunrise. You will break camp and your guide will take you on a short walking tour back to the lodge. Upon arrival, you will where we will enjoying a delicious breakfast. After breakfast you will check-out and start your drive back to Namibia’s capital city; arriving in the midday. You will be dropped off at your designated location. This is where your safari will end.
