Johannesburg to Kruger (Lowveld Farmlands & Scenic Route)

We pick you op from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport or hotel around 7 am. We then drive east towards the Kruger National Park. This route showcases some of the finest farmlands and mountain passes in South Africa. During comfort stops you can use restrooms and purchase refreshments.

We will arrive in Hazyview around lunchtime. The lodge is about 15 minutes drive from the Kruger Gate. After check-in, you will have some time to settle in before boarding an open-sided safari vehicle for an exciting sunset game drive.

Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight accommodation.

Kruger National Park

Early in the morning, we'll meet for coffee and rusks, after which we depart on a full-day game drive in the Kruger National Park (Skukuza area). This area is rich in wildlife and the elevated height of the 4×4 open-sided vehicle makes for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities.

After the sunrise game drive, we'll stop for breakfast. A packed breakfast is provided, but you can also purchase food items from one of the shops at the rest camp. After breakfast, we'll continue on our morning safari.

Later you will enjoy lunch at one of the park’s restaurants (own account). After lunch, we will proceed with our afternoon game drive. During these game drives, you’ll see a wide variety of wildlife and have plenty of photographic opportunities. After our afternoon game drive, we’ll make our way back to the lodge around 3 pm. You will have time to relax and enjoy drinks at the bar.

Panorama Route

After breakfast, we'll depart on a scenic tour of the Panorama Route. You will visit beautiful places and view-points such as various waterfalls, Bourke's Luck Potholes, God's Window and Blyde River Canyon.

Enjoy lunch along the route (own account). After your tour of the Panorama route, we will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Return to Johannesburg

This is the last day of your African Kruger safari. You can enjoy an optional morning game drive (own account) before returning to the lodge around midday. After checkout, we will make our way back to Johannesburg.

Late in the afternoon, you'll be dropped off in Johannesburg as per arrangement. This can be at Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport or a Johannesburg hotel.
