Your journey begins with a transfer from O.R. Tambo International Airport at 7:40 am. Brace yourself for a 7-hour expedition, our guides greet you around 2:30 pm in Phalaborwa, a charming town bordering Kruger. Indulge in a personal lunch at a local restaurant before we head to the entrances of Kruger National Park.
We access Kruger through the Phalaborwa Gate, on a leisurely drive to Letaba, our initial camp. This safari drive traverses Mopani and Bushwillow woodlands – ideal locations for encountering elephants and buffalo. Prepare for your first spectacular wildlife sighting. Upon arrival at Letaba around 6:00 pm, check-in, settle in, and relax while enjoying the sunset by the Letaba River.
Letaba Camp, nestled on the riverbanks with breathtaking views. The camp offers a Park Shop, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and The Great Elephant Hall – a museum dedicated to Kruger’s most colossal elephants.
As night falls, we’ll prepare a traditional South African dinner over an open fire.

With the sunrise, embark on an early morning game drive, eager to explore the incredible wildlife inhabiting this region. Renowned for vast herds of Buffalo, Elephants, and elusive Leopards along the Letaba River, this Kruger part promises awe-inspiring sightings.
Keep watch for diverse wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and various antelope species. Our journey leads to a scenic picnic site, indulging in a delightful breakfast before a leisurely drive back to Letaba.
Upon returning to camp, enjoy the amenities and unwind during midday. Lunch will be served, setting the stage for an afternoon filled with excitement. Brace for another thrilling game drive, exploring the area for more remarkable wildlife encounters.
As the day concludes, return to camp for a delectable dinner under the vast African sky and enjoy the surroundings and sounds of the bush.

We begin with an early sunrise drive along the Letaba River. Our route takes us east, exploring an area with a large pride of lions. We’ll return to camp for a hearty breakfast, as we journey further south towards our next destination, Satara.
Heading to Satara, the landscape transforms into open savannah grasslands, creating a perfect habitat for large herds of grazing animals like Zebra and Wildebeest. Upon reaching Satara, savor a prepared lunch, providing time to unwind before heading on an afternoon drive in the surrounding area.
Satara is a hotspot for grazing animals, promising excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. The camp features a waterhole just outside where animals can be spotted even from the camp.
Tonight, dinner is at your own expense at the camp restaurant. Following dinner, prepare for a night drive in search of nocturnal animals. Led by a trained Kruger ranger, this shared adventure with fellow park guests offers a chance to witness the big cats on the prowl.

Kruger National Park - Southern Section
Our adventure in the Satara area begins with coffee, setting the stage for tracking Cheetahs in the expansive grasslands. We’ll return to camp for breakfast, then bid farewell to Satara. Our journey to the next camp, Skukuza, is 90 kilometers. En route, we’ll traverse areas renowned for lion sightings and stop at two iconic water points known for attracting animal species.
Arriving at Skukuza around 1 pm, enjoy an own-expense lunch at the camp restaurant. Skukuza, the largest camp in Kruger, sits along the banks of the famous Sabie River, boasting beautiful riverine forest trees.
After lunch, relax and explore the camp’s facilities, including a swimming pool, a Park Shop, a museum, a Wi-Fi hotspot and scenic walkway along the Sabie River with many benches.
Midday, venture into the Skukuza area for more wildlife encounters, very promising for lion sightings. This area boasts an impressive 20 members.
Dinner will be served under the stars in our makeshift bush restaurant tonight.

Immerse yourself with an enriching guided bush walk. Accompanied by a skilled Kruger ranger, this experience provides a unique perspective, focusing on animal tracking and revealing aspects not easily observable from a vehicle.
After the adventurous bush walk, we enjoy a satisfying breakfast before the journey further south to Berg en Dal, where the final two nights of the safari await.
Berg en Dal, nestled in a mountainous region of Kruger National Park, provides a stunning backdrop for photos. With the highest rainfall in Kruger National Park, this area nurtures riverine forests along the rivers. It’s an ideal habitat for elephants and leopards, boasting the park’s highest concentration of rhinos.
In the afternoon, prepare for an exciting safari drive in the Berg en Dal area, where we hope to encounter some incredible wildlife, and we aim to make it memorable.
At sun set, we return to camp, start dinner preparations, and relish the ambiance of the African bush by the warm fire.

We begin with a coffee meetup early morning, setting, a captivating sunrise safari drive awaits. Following the winding rivers eastward, we hope to spot leopards resting or feeding in the lower branches of towering trees. Stay vigilant for majestic elephants and the resilient white rhino, with the rare black rhino possibly making a appearance if luck is on our side. A stop at a picturesque picnic site allows us to savor breakfast in the heart of the bush before returning late morning.
Lunch back at camp provides a perfect opportunity to unwind and explore camp facilities. Take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, explore the small shop, observe wildlife at the waterhole, or embark on a self-guided walking trail.
As the afternoon unfolds, we depart on one last thrilling safari drive. This part of Kruger promises an abundance of wildlife encounters. On return to camp, dinner will be a fireside feast, offering a moment to reflect on the wonders of your safari, while sharing stories.

Kruger to Johannesburg
We head on one final safari in the Berg en Dal area. Past experiences lead us to encounters with Wild Dogs, who often make a special appearance on our last morning in Berg en Dal. Witnessing these incredible creatures bidding adieu would be a truly spectacular farewell.
We return for a hearty breakfast, offering a moment to reflect on the remarkable adventures of the past week. After breakfast, we’ll embark on a 3-hour journey to the charming town of Hazyview, for the return transfer to Johannesburg. We remain optimistic that Kruger will provide one last thrilling sighting during this leg of the journey.
The journey from Hazyview to Johannesburg commences at 12:30 pm, taking approximately 5 hours, with the transfer dropping you off at O.R. Tambo International Airport between 17:00 and 18:00.
Kindly note that for those with flights on this day, refrain from scheduling international departures before 20:00 and domestic flights before 19:00 to allow ample time for your journey back.
