Around 12:30pm, on arrival in Hazyview, your Wild Planet Safari guide awaits, promising an immersive experience. Delight in lunch at a local restaurant, savoring regional flavors (for your own account).
Post-lunch, head out on a short drive to Phabeni Gate, the entry to Kruger National Park, marking the start of a thrilling expedition into the heart of Kruger. Capture the essence of untamed Africa amidst diverse wildlife on the way to Berg-en-Dal rest camp.
Berg-en-Dal becomes your home for the first two nights, nestled against Kruger's mountainous terrain, a sanctuary for elephants and leopards, and boasting the park's highest rhino concentration.
At sunset, arrive at camp and engage in preparing dinner amid the sounds of the African bush, serenaded by the warmth of a crackling fire, creating an immersive experience.

We kick off with a friendly coffee gathering, setting the stage for a sunrise safari drive. Along winding rivers, search for leopards in lower branches and witness the grace of elephants and the presence of white rhinos. A rare black rhino might appear in the landscape if luck favors us.
At a charming picnic spot, we indulge in a breakfast in the bush, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Return to camp for relaxation and exploration. A refreshing dip in the pool or shopping at the souvenir store, quiet moments by the waterhole, or a leisurely stroll along the self-guided walking trail. A midday lunch will be served at the camp.
At sunset, prepare for another safari drive through the wilderness. The park, a haven for wildlife, promises glimpses of Africa’s majestic creatures. Upon returning to camp, immerse yourself in the tranquil evening atmosphere. Dinner, prepared over open flames, becomes a culinary delight heightened by the soothing sounds of the wild.

Begin the day with a sunrise safari in the park's southern reaches. The Matjulu waterhole is a prime spot to see spotted hyenas in action! Along the Matjulu River, known for encounters with African wild dogs, anticipate thrilling wildlife sightings.
Return to camp for a delightful breakfast, and we bid farewell to Berg-en-Dal and journey north through savannah grasslands, landscapes where white rhinos often appear. An approximate 3-hour drive leads to Skukuza, the largest camp in Kruger and the park's administrative hub. Nestled along the Sabie River, Skukuza boasts a setting with riverine forest trees.
On arrival, savor lunch (for your own account). Unwind and explore the camp's offerings, a swimming pool, shop, museum, and a scenic walk along the Sabie River.
This afternoon, explore the Skukuza area. The lion territories around Skukuza might reveal a pride known to have an impressive 20 members. As night falls, relish dinner under the stars at our makeshift bush restaurant.

Begin the day with a sunrise safari along the Sabie River, known for having Kruger's highest density of leopards. The Sabie River, inhabited by hippos, crocodiles, and various other wildlife, guarantees a spectacle.
After breakfast at camp, we continue north toward Satara. Pausing at a picnic site, we traverse lion territories, home to renowned prides. If luck favors us, a rare white lion might grace our path. Arriving at Satara at midday, just in time for lunch, provides an opportunity to unwind and prepare for an afternoon drive to explore.
Satara, nestled in Kruger's grasslands, is a haven for grazing animals. A waterhole just outside the camp fence offers a convenient spot to observe wildlife.
At sunset, enjoy dinner at the camp's restaurant (for your own account) before going on a night drive. This nocturnal adventure unveils the world of big cats, along with the possibility of encountering smaller nocturnal creatures like civets, genets, owls, porcupines, and honey badgers.

We begin with an early morning drive in the captivating Satara area. We search for the predators that call this region home—leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and wild dogs. With luck, witness the thrill of a predator on the hunt, creating a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience. Following our adventure, a delightful breakfast at a scenic picnic site awaits before we return to camp.
Back at the camp, take advantage of the midday heat to unwind and enjoy the facilities. Whether it is a leisurely walk along the fence to spot animals or a refreshing swim, the options abound. After a satisfying lunch, our journey continues with an afternoon safari.
By now, we anticipate having encountered most animals on your wishlist, perhaps even some unexpected surprises! As the day winds down, we will return to camp at sunset, concluding with a final dinner around the comforting glow of the fire in the heart of the park.

Kruger National Park to Johannesburg
Immerse yourself on the final day of your safari with a guided bush walk through Kruger. Accompanied by a Kruger ranger, discover secrets of the bush, from identifying tracks to gaining insights into wildlife. This unique experience allows for a deeper connection with wildlife, unveiling aspects easily missed from a vehicle.
We return to camp, where a hearty breakfast awaits. Set out on a leisurely drive towards the exit gate and maybe have one last wildlife sighting before bidding farewell to the park.
Arriving in Hoedspruit at 11:00am, meet the transfer team for the journey back to Johannesburg. The route takes you over the Drakensberg Escarpment, Southern Africa’s longest mountain range. Reaching Johannesburg between 5:00pm and 6:00pm, where you will be dropped off at O.R. Tambo International Airport.
