The Great migration varies every year. The best chance of seeing it is from June to September, while the wildebeest calving is from January to March. From July to September, your driver will be able to take you to the northern Serengeti to watch the wildebeest crossing the Mara River. A million and a half wildebeest travel throughout the year as they look for fresh grazing pasture and follow the rainfall for better water sources.
