1-Day Trip to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast you will picked up from your hotel and then drive to Tarangire, Tanzania’s fifth largest national park and the sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of this park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Many animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. The great diversity of wildlife here includes lion, leopard, cheetah, and up to six thousand elephants. In the evening you will drive back to Arusha.
