Today you'll drive from Arusha or Moshi Tanzania, to Tarangire National Park for lunch. With a permanent water source, the park is virtually guaranteed enormous herds and excellent wildlife viewing including cheetahs, lions— some tree-climbing, leopards, hyenas, and a herd of 3,500 elephants. The park is also host to several rare species including elands, oryx, kudu, and gerenuks. Your accommodations will be at Tarangire Sopa Lodge, a tranquil oasis overlooking the rolling plains.

Ngorongoro Crater
You'll wake up early morning for breakfast then at 7:30 am, drive to Ngorongoro and descend into the Crater floor (19.2km diameter, 610m deep, 304sq km) for game drives. The crater is home to black rhinos, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, impalas, and so many other antelopes. Approximately 25,000 different animals. The carnivores include pride of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and other small cats. Your lunch will be served on the picnic site at Ngoitoktok Swamp a hippo pool. After lunch, you'll proceed with afternoon game viewing while ascending the crater. Your dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Lake Manyara National Park
You'll have breakfast at 7:00 am. You'll be picked up from the lodge at 8:00 am and drive on a tarmac road 60km with a lunch box to Lake Manyara National Park (330sq km or 127sq miles) on the base of the Great Rift Valley. You'll enjoy the afternoon game drives. The park is home to lions, hippos, elephants, zebras, buffalos, giraffes, baboons, blue and vervet monkeys, warthogs, and more. About 350 species of birds have been recorded. This small park contains also five distinct vegetation zones. Thus, it supports a large variety of birds and animals. The Lake Manyara National Park is also famous for its large flocks of flamingos. In this park, canoeing has recently been added to tourist activities at an extra cost. This is a great way to see the park from a new perspective. Later, you'll be dropped off in Arusha or at the airport.
