Day 1

You will be picked up from your hotel, in Moshi, and driven to Marangu and the gate of Kilimanjaro Mountain. You will be escorted by an armed guide and be provided with a packed lunch, soft drink and snack. On this easy hike, you will see spectacular sites as you ascend the mountain to Mandara Hut. This hike will take approximately 3 hours. You will enjoy your meal in the afternoon and then make your way back down, returning to your hotel in Moshi. This is where your tour will end.
