Dar es Salaam - Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, your safari in southern Tanzania begins. You'll be picked up from the hotel for a scenic drive to Nyerere National Park (a 5–6-hour journey). Upon arrival at your lodge in the afternoon, a late lunch awaits. Following lunch and some well-deserved rest, we’ll embark on an exploration of the area surrounding your lodge via a guided walking tour along the riverbanks of the Rufiji River or a boat trip. Meander through shrubs and ancient mahogany trees as you observe playful monkeys in the tree canopy and hippos socializing in the water. We’ll return to the lodge in time for a cold sundowner drink.
