Nairobi - Samburu Game Reserve

You will be picked up from the airport or your Nairobi hotel at 7:00 am by your guide and enjoy a scenic drive en route to Samburu National Reserve, arriving on time for lunch at the Samburu Simba Lodge. After lunch, we proceed for an afternoon game drive. This is the best time of day to view nocturnal hunters who prepare for their nightly expeditions. Begin your first game drive in Samburu, where you'll have the chance to spot unique wildlife such as reticulated giraffes, Grevy's zebras, and elusive leopards. Return to your lodge for a delightful dinner and relax by the campfire, sharing stories of your day's adventures.

Samburu Game Reserve

We start the day early with a refreshing breakfast before heading out on a morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Drive back to the lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, you will set out on a game drive as you explore this reserve and continue to spot unique animals.

Samburu - Meru National Park

Have an early morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. Then, you will drive to Meru National Park (made famous by the story of Elsa the lioness of Born Free fame). She was raised and released in this region by George and Joy Adamson. Explore the area and enjoy memorable wildlife encounters on your guided game drives. See some of the smaller inhabitants of the bush. Enjoy the lush riverine forests, coursing rivers, and, in contrast, the vast, dry open plains dotted with baobabs. Meru is a totally unspoiled part of Kenya. Revel in the remote and rugged atmosphere found here.
