We will pick you up from the agreed-upon point in Dar es Salaam and transfer you to the train station. Depending on your time, the train leaves from Dar es Salaam at 06:00 am and 08:00 am, and the last leaves at 09:30 am. It will take you only one hour and a half (01:30) to reach Morogoro town. We pick you up from Morogoro and drive 2 hours to Mikumi Park. You will Check in at bandas and get a hot lunch before proceeding with an afternoon and evening game drive. This is a home to elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, hyenas, buffalos, wildebeests, elands, hartebeests, crocodiles, lizards, and other residents. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park. After sunset, you will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Tanapa Bandas.

Sunrise Game Drive in Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam

You will have an early morning game-viewing drive in the park. Mikumi's vegetation includes woodland, swamp, and grassland with two water holes: Mkata and Chamgore. Apart from the saddle-bill stork, hammer kop, and malachite kingfisher, you will also find a monitor lizard and a deadly python inhabiting the pools. You will return to the hotel for a full breakfast, and after that, drive to Morogoro town, where you can have a hot lunch at the restaurant, then transfer to the railway station for the evening train back to Dar es Salaam. On arrival at Dar at 06:20, we will pick you up and transfer you to the airport or hotel you choose. Then, you will drive straight to Dar es Salaam, where the tour ends at the agreed point.
