Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked by an Earthwings Tours representative and depart Nairobi early in the morning at 7.00 am. Make your way to the Great Rift Valley, where we will stop to enjoy the scenery of the great escarpment. We will then drive to the Mara, arriving in time for lunch at the camp. Spend some time relaxing and then go on an afternoon game drive at 4:00 pm. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After your breakfast at 7:00 am, you will depart for a whole day game drive in the vast Masai Mara National Reserve with a picnic lunch being served in the wild. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopards, many kinds of antelopes and elephants. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeests and zebras from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.
Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna—lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vulture.

After breakfast at 0800hrs, you will join your safari guide for your departure to Nairobi for your scheduled flight.
