Dar es Salaam - Mikumi National Park

You will be picked up from Dar es Salaam Airport, by ferry, or your hotel at around 6:30 am after breakfast from Dar es Salaam via Morogoro and Chalinze with picnic lunch packs. You'll continue with the game drive here at Mikumi where you will come across lions, elands, hartebeest, buffalos, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, elephants, wild dogs, and many species of birds. You'll have an overnight stay at Bastian Camp or Mikumi Bandas inside the park. The meal plan includes dinner on full board.

Game Viewing in Udzungwa Mountain National Park

After breakfast, you will proceed with a full-day game drive at Mikumi National Park where you will see all species of animals and birds. Due to its savannah plains animals at Mikumi are easy to access. You will drive to the Bastian Camp for a meal. Late afternoon, you will stay at Camp Bastian swimming and relaxing as the park can get too hot to drive. You will have meals and accommodation in your tents by the poolside.

Udzungwa Mountains - Dar es Salaam

After an early breakfast, you will start your safari to Udzungwa for 60km then trek leading to the spectacular trails up to Sanje Waterfalls. One of the unique features of Udzungwa is diving in Sanje Waterfalls. Also, you will get a good view of Kilombero Valley which is ideal for agriculture. You will walk back to Udzungwa town for a hot lunch and start driving to Dar es Salaam where you will arrive in the late evening. We'll drop you off at the hotel of your choice or home.
