Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha - Nairobi

After breakfast, there will be optional visit to masai village, then depart for Lake Naivasha. On arrival, proceed on a boat ride to Crescent Island where you will take a walk. The shores host abundant birdlife, especially huge numbers of pelicans, cormorants, and fish-eagles with their haunting cry. There are more animals per acre than in any other Kenyan Park, hence the herds of wildebeest, waterbuck, zebra, and gazelle. Hippos graze all over at night then sleep under the acacia trees or rest in the water by day. The giraffes who were born on the island, return to give birth (sometimes you see 3 generations at a time). Hyenas come to hunt at night but are not residents on the island, and the many pythons that live here can be seen occasionally with a kill. Groups of buffalo come and go but they are always monitored. Have lunch, then depart for Nairobi, arriving in the evening. Drop off at the airport or hotel, marking the end of our safari.
