Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early arrival at the airport, you will get a very warm welcome from our professional driver-guide. We will then have a first tour briefing before we drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. It's considered one of the largest and most beautiful protected areas of Kenya and it reveals the originality of Africa. Arrive and check-in at Enkorok Mara Camp in time for lunch. After lunch, we will have some time to relax before we embark on the first game drive through the savannah landscape of the Masai Mara National Reserve. You'll have a good chance to track down the Big Five (elephant, buffalo, lion, rhino, leopard). Come back for dinner and your overnight stay at the tented camp.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, we will do a full-day game of game drives in the Masai Mara National Reserve. This park is famous for its savannah landscapes and its wildlife concentration per square km. The prospects are good to observe all those fascinating animals that are usually only seen in numerous nature documentaries. We will have a picnic at a site in the Mara River, bordering the Serengeti. The river is part of the Masai Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, which is particularly known for the largest wildlife migration on earth. Every year, wildebeests, zebras and antelopes form huge animal trains cross the brown, foaming river full of crocodiles.

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Naivasha

Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Naivasha which is the highest and most beautiful lake in the Rift Valley. Here, bird-watchers will be pleased as there are over 400 documented bird species. At an altitude of 1910 m, the water is crystal clear and surrounded by thick papyrus. Arrive and check-in at Lake Naivasha Country Club in time for lunch. After a short rest, we will do a boat trip to the lake and experience more of the attractions found in the lake. Lake Naivasha Country Club is surrounded by a vast terrain, which varies in landscape. Thus we'll not only find a steppe landscape but also grass and trees come close like in a local park. You may be able to observe many animals roaming around the Lodge in search of food. At night it is fun to look out of the window and see hippopotamus within a few meters from the lodge. You'll also see warthogs or even giraffes on your way. Your overnight stay and dinner will be at Lake Naivasha Country Club.

Day 4

Lake Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

Lake Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

Today we will proceed to the world-famous Amboseli National Park and reach our camp in time for lunch. The afternoon will be spent just relaxing at the swimming pool where you can also watch some animals in the nearby park. Alternatively, you can take a walk with a Maasai guide to the village (optional). Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Kibo Safari Camp.

Day 5

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, we will drive to Amboseli National Park and have a full-day game viewing at the park. A picnic lunch will be taken at the Observation Hill. This park jewel is not only a unique panorama of Mount Kilimanjaro but also one of the best wildlife areas to observe elephants at close quarters. Amboseli is a small park with numerous zebras, wildebeests, Thomson gazelles, Grant gazelles, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, lions, cheetahs, jackals and hyenas. A highlight of the park is the Observation Hill, from which we will have a stunning view of the swamp and savannah landscape. You have the possibility to relax at the pool and enjoy the view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.

Day 6

Amboseli National Park - Tsavo East

Amboseli National Park - Tsavo East

After an early morning game drive, we will proceed to Tsavo East National Park, home of the red elephants. You'll have game drives en route to Ashnil Aruba Lodge where we will check in for lunch. After lunch, relax and then have afternoon game drives in the park. We have the chance to watch zebras, buffalos, giraffes, gazelles, waterbucks and big families of elephants. Look out also for a diversity of resident bird species which includes hornbills, eagles, kingfishers, weavers, giant bustards, storks and marabou. At sunset, we will return to Ashnil Aruba Lodge for dinner and our overnight stay.

Before breakfast, we will go on a game drive to watch animals during their activities early in the morning. After breakfast, we will drive to Bachuma Gate with game en-route. We will take our lunch there before proceeding to Mombasa where our journey comes to an end.
