Amboseli
We go on morning and afternoon game drives on the park's dusty roads (in the Maasai language Amboseli means "dusty whirlwinds"). You're likely to spot wildebeest, giraffe, gazelle, impala, and zebra which are attracted to the marshes and swamps fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. You may also spot lions on the fringes of the marshes as well as a great variety of birdlife (some 425 bird species populate the park). Amboseli is popular as it is home to hundreds of elephants, and with Kilimanjaro providing a dramatic backdrop, your photographs will be stunning. We return for dinner and overnight at the camp.
