1-Day Trip at Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Moshi and driven to Tarangire National Park. The park stretches along the Tarangire River and features low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor, with a mix of Acacia woodlands and towering African Baobab trees, along with expansive swamp areas in the south. During Tanzania's dry season, both the river and swamps attract a wide variety of wildlife, making it a prime location for viewing some of Africa's largest elephant herds. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park, followed by two thrilling game drives one in the morning and another in the afternoon along the Tarangire River. In the late afternoon, we’ll depart for either Arusha or Moshi at the hotel or airport to catch the flight.
