Nairobi - Aberdares National Park

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative for a short briefing before embarking on a scenic drive through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantations towards the cool Kenyan highlands. Your journey takes you to the Aberdare Country Club, the base hotel for your stay at The Ark.

After enjoying lunch at the hotel, you will transfer at 1430 hrs to The Ark, located within Aberdare National Park. Carry only an overnight bag, as the bulk of your luggage will remain at the country club. The Ark features multiple decks and balconies, offering excellent opportunities for game viewing and wildlife photography. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Aberdares National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you’ll transfer back to the Aberdare Country Club to retrieve the rest of your luggage before setting off towards the Great Rift Valley. Your journey takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge (or a similar) in time for lunch.

At 1600 hrs, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive, heading towards the shores of Lake Nakuru, which is famous for its birdlife, including flocks of flamingos that create a striking pink hue across the water. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast will be served at the lodge from 0630 hrs, and at 0730 hrs, you will drive to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Enjoy the beautiful scenery en route. You’ll arrive at the Mara Sopa lodge in time for lunch and check in. In the afternoon, enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive at 1600 hrs. You’ll have the chance to spot lions, cheetahs, and other spectacular predators—if you are lucky. This is the highlight of your day. In the evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner. Your overnight will be at the lodge.
