Day 1

Arrive in Nairobi where you will be welcomed by our representative and after a briefing drive towards the north central Kenya. Drive through the green highlands of Kenya to the Aberdares country club for lunch. As you wait for your transport to the Ark you will have a complimentary nature walk around the sanctuary and after you will be driven to the Ark for overnight You will have a chance of viewing the wildlife from the balcony. Overnight, dinner and breakfast at the lodge.
NB:Kindly pack what you need for the night. The other luggage will be left in a safe store for picking the next morning.

Day 2
Aberdares- Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will be driven back to the base hotel, collect your luggage. The African Skimmer Safari guide will be waiting. Drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park with a brief stop at the equator for demonstration. Proceed down south west through the rift valley. You are expected to arrive there time for lunch and check in at Lake Nakuru Sopa. Game drive at 1600hrs. Here you will have a chance of spotting the white rhinos and if lucky the black rhino. Lions and Leopards too are found in the park and other grazers they prey on e.g. Zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, water bucks and the endangered Rothschild giraffes. Over night at lake Nakuru sopa resort.

Day 3

After breakfast check out and have an enroute game drive on your way to Naivasha. You can decide to do the boat before or after lunch. Check in at Sawela Lodge for Lunch. Set in one hundred and fifty acres of grassland studded with Acacia bushes and trees, the resort is not only home to our resident giraffe, waterbuck and both Vervet and Colobus monkeys, but it is also a night stop for the hippos when they leave the lake every night to come and trim the grass on the expansive lawns. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4

After breakfast depart for Maasai Mara with brief stop along the way for wash rooms and some rest. Arrive at the Maasai Mara in time for lunch. Check in and enjoy an afternoon siesta. At 1600 hrs enjoy an afternoon game drive where you expect to spot cats like Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards that preys on the many grazers grazing on the rolling 583 sq miles of Savannah grasslands extending the Mara Serengeti ecosystem. Dinner and overnight at Maasai Mara sopa lodge where you are booked on full board.

Day 5

After breakfast, proceed for game-viewing drive in the Mara at 0630hrs and 1600hrs respectively. Maasai Mara offers breathtaking views an extraordinary density of animals including "the Big Five" (lions, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros) and many varieties of plains game. An impressive feature is the annual migration of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles from the plains of the Serengeti that cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara's grasslands from late June, tracked by predators: lion, leopard, cheetah, and hyena. Their dramatic river crossings are a reality for tourists visiting in early July-August. Apart from the seasonal migration, game viewing is excellent year round. Game includes elephant, black rhino, buffalo, plains zebra, hartebeest and big cats. The rivers are home to hippo and crocodiles.
In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the camp.

Day 6

After breakfast drive back to Nairobi to arrive in time for Lunch at carnivore. The Carnivore is justifiably referred to as Africa’s Greatest Eating Experience. Twice voted amongst the world’s 50 best restaurants by UK based Restaurant magazine, the Carnivore is an amazing open-air meat specialty restaurant that has strikingly different food service and atmosphere to any other restaurant in Kenya. Whole joints of meat - legs of lamb and pork, haunches of exotic meat, rumps of beef, sirloins, racks of lamb, spare ribs, sausages, chicken wings, skewered kidneys, even crocodile, and other tasty morsels - are roasted on traditional Masai swords over a huge, visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant. There after transfer to the airport for your flight.
