Day 1

At 6:30 am, you will be met and briefed by our representative before departing Nairobi and driving northward to Samburu National Reserve. The journey takes you through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantations of the cool Kenyan highlands. As you head north, you will encounter striking features such as the equator crossing in Nanyuki and the stunning backdrop of Mount Kenya. The sight of the huge blue mountains on the horizon, along with the snow-capped peak of Mount Kenya, provides a warm welcome to visitors.
You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, followed by a short siesta. At 4:00 pm, you’ll embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the park and observe its diverse wildlife. Samburu National Reserve, located along the Ewaso Nyiro River, is teeming with life, attracting a variety of animals from the surrounding savannah plains. After the game drive, you’ll enjoy dinner and your overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2

After breakfast, you’ll go on a game drive in the Samburu National Reserve at 6:30 am, followed by a mid-morning/early afternoon rest until your next game drive at 4:00 pm. Samburu is famous for its rare mammals, known as the "Special Five," which can only be found north of the equator. These include the gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and Grevy's zebra. Other animals you may encounter include leopard, lion, elephants, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. All meals and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 3

Breakfast will be served at the lodge starting at 6:30 am. At 7:30 am, you’ll proceed south to Aberdare Country Club, which serves as the base for your tree hotel – The Ark. Enjoy lunch at the country club, and then at 2:30 pm, transfer to The Ark, located in Aberdare National Park. You’ll take only small overnight bags, as most of your luggage will be left at Aberdare Country Club. The Ark offers various decks and balconies for easy wildlife viewing and photography. Dinner and game viewing at a waterhole, where animals come to drink at night, will follow. Your overnight stay will be at The Ark.

Day 4

Breakfast will be served at 6:00 am. At 8:00 am, you’ll then transfer back to the country club to retrieve the rest of your luggage. At 9:00 am, you’ll drive towards the Rift Valley, arriving at the lodge or camp in time for lunch. After lunch, relax and meet your tour guide at 4:00 pm for the evening game drive. During the drive, you will view lions, leopards, rhinos, and other grazers in their natural habitat, and see flamingos along the shores of Lake Nakuru. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 5

Breakfast will be served at the lodge from 6:30 am. At 7:30 am, you will drive to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. You’ll arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and check in. In the late afternoon, you’ll enjoy an exciting game drive, where you'll have the chance to spot lions, cheetahs, and other spectacular predators. This will be the highlight of your day. All meals and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 6

You will have a full day in the reserve, with both morning and afternoon game drives at 6:30 am and 4:00 pm, respectively. The mid-morning and early afternoon will be at your leisure. During the day, you can arrange with your guide to visit a Maasai village to experience the local culture and way of life.
The Mara's rolling plains are home to hundreds of plains game, along with the predators that feed on them. Considered by many to be Kenya's finest game reserve, the 650 square miles of the Masai Mara adjoin Tanzania's famous Serengeti, forming one ecosystem. The open, rolling savannah grasslands of the Mara are home to numerous wildlife species, including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topi, impala, gazelle, warthog, and zebra.
From June to September, the annual Great Wildebeest Migration occurs, when thousands of these animals cross the plains in search of new grazing areas. All meals and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 7

After breakfast at 7:30 am, you will depart the Mara and drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your departure flight.
