Day 1

Transfer to Jinja and a visit to the source of the Nile

Transfer to Jinja and a visit to the source of the Nile

Arrive at Entebbe Airport in the morning at 8:00 and our guide will pick you up. Go for refreshments to a nearby hotel or mall and then drive to Jinja city through Kampala, the capital city. We visit the source of the Nile where you will see a variety of animals including crocodiles, lizards, and many species of birds. Overnight at Jinja Backpackers as you prepare for the rafting the following morning.

Day 2

Rafting on the Nile River

Rafting on the Nile River

Wake up early and have breakfast and then join the group for white-water rafting on the River Nile, the largest river in Africa. The activity takes all day and you will come back from rafting at 5pm. Lunch will be served during the short break while at the Nile. Return at the lodge for relaxation while sipping a cold drink (Two bottles of Nile special will be served). Overnight at Jinja Backpackers.

Day 3

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park Via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park Via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, drive to Murchison Falls national park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola. Meet the rangers for briefing and after go for Rhino tracking in the sanctuary. White Rhinos have been re-introduced in Uganda and you will get the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After tracking Rhinos, you will go for lunch and later transfer to the legendary Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s biggest National Park. Visit top of the falls before you proceed to your lodge. Overnight at Murchison River lodge.

Day 4

Game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Game drive and afternoon boat cruise

After breakfast at 8:00 am, start your game drive with prospects to see giraffes, elephants, hartebeests, antelopes, lions, Uganda kobs, and many others. Return to the lodge for lunch, and then take a launch cruise along the River Nile, one of the interesting attractions of the park. Have a short trek at the bottom of the thundering falls where you will see crocodiles, a variety of water birds like herons and kingfishers, schools of hippos, elephants, and buffaloes. Proceed with a hike that takes you to the top of the falls. Later, return for your overnight stay at Murchison River Lodge on a full-board basis.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the oil city of Hoima

After breakfast, start your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the oil city of Hoima where we will stop for lunch. We then proceed to Kasese, the home of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will pass through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms along the Albertine Rift escarpment. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the field "Mountains of the Moon". Overnight at Aardvark Safari Lodge full board.

Chimps tracking and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest

In the morning, your guide takes you to the Kalinzu Forest, which is a part of Queen Elizabeth National Park for the chimp-trekking experience. You have a walk in the beautiful jungle and have an encounter with the chimps. You then proceed with the journey to Bwindi Forest, the home of gorillas, via the Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here, you will be able to see elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, and a variety of antelope species on your way to Bwindi National Forest. Lunch will be served on the way. Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge / Bakiga Lodge on a full-board.

Gorilla Tracking experience and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, we go for the gorilla-tracking experience. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park inhabits almost half of the world’s 650 mountain gorillas. Start climbing early with a tracker. Seeing the gorillas depends on their day’s movements. Gorillas are naturally reserved and non-violent animals. It’s a memorable and thrilling moment to watch them and possibly photograph these mild giants at a close range. Afterward, we return to the hotel for lunch and relaxation. You can go on a community visit and shop for works of art. In the evening, we head for dinner and overnight at Birdnest Resort Bunyonyi.

After breakfast, you start the journey back to Kampala. Make a stop along the way for lunch in Mbarara or Masaka depending on the time. You have now reached the end of your rhino, gorilla, chimp, boat cruise, game drive, and wildlife safari. The guide will drop you in either Entebbe or Kampala.
