You will be picked up from your hotel in Entebbe at 7:30 am by your driver-guide and set off on an adventurous journey to Bwindi National Park in the southwestern part of the country. You will have a stopover at the equator for photography and experimentation and lunch in Mbarara. You will proceed to Bwindi National Park reaching early in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at Bakiga Lodge in preparation for the gorilla tracking the following day.

Gorilla Tracking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
You will wake up early morning at 6:00 am for an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters at 7:00 am. You will attend a mandatory pre-gorilla tracking briefing from the park authorities. You will be allocated the gorilla family to track and then in a maximum group of 8 people, head to the forest at 8:30 am to start the gorilla tracking adventure. This activity will take 1-4 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in their natural environment. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will stay in their presence for a maximum of one hour. On return, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the deepest lakes in Africa.

Transfer to Kampala
In the morning after breakfast, you may have a boat ride around the islands where you will learn about the culture and traditions around the lake. You will then set off your 8-hour journey to Kampala with en route stopover for lunch and shopping. You will reach Kampala early in the evening for an overnight stay.

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
At 7:00 am, you will be picked up from your hotel and set off to Murchison Falls National Park. You will pass via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongora where you will have rhino tracking in their sanctuary. On return, you will have lunch and proceed to Murchison Falls National Park reaching early to visit the top of the falls for a breathtaking view of the falls. You'll proceed to the northern part of the park with a game drive en route to your lodge where you will see animals such as giraffes, buffalos, and elephants among others. You'll have dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive and Boat Safari
Early morning, you will go for an early risers game drive in the northern part of the park where you will search for animals such as lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, and buffalos among others. You will embark to the lodge for a late breakfast and then lunch. At 2:00 pm, you will enjoy a boat safari to the bottom of the falls which will reward you with game as hippos, crocodiles, and lots of bird species as well as other animals along the channel banks. You will return to the lodge with an en route evening game drive. You'll have dinner and an overnight stay.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Entebbe
Early morning, you will cross over to the southern part of the park to Budongo forest where you will have a briefing at 8:00 am before heading into the forest for a chimpanzee tracking adventure. You'll enjoy the chimpanzees playing in the forest in search of food. After an hour with the chimpanzees, you will set off back to Entebbe reaching in the evening, and transfer to the airport to check in for your departure if on schedule.
