Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park
You will be picked up at 8:30 am and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will leave Nairobi and travel west through Kenya's fertile highlands, where tea and coffee abound. To your left, the trees part to reveal a spectacular view of the Great Rift Valley, with dormant volcano Longonot at centre stage. Your panoramic journey will take you past Lake Naivasha and Lake Elementaita to arrive in good time for check-in and lunch.
After lunch, you will drive to Lake Nakuru for an afternoon game drive, coloured by a shimmering of the beautiful birds lining its shores. Enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park which is, of course, known for its birdlife species. Wildlife is also in abundance here. You'll see large numbers of waterbucks, warthogs, impalas, buffalos, plains game, cheetahs, and now rhinos, as Lake Nakuru National Park has been made into one of Kenya's rhino sanctuaries.

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve
This morning, leaving Lake Elementaita behind, you head southwards and turn right at Maai Mahiu to ascend up over the top of the Mau Escarpment towards Narok, the gateway to the Masai Mara and district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. You will arrive for lunch at your lodge/camp. In the afternoon, you will go on game drives in the reserve. Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south.
Game abounds here, particularly when the migration is on and millions of wildebeests and zebras make their way back and forth across the Mara River on their annual trek. All of the Big Five are residents. You're sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film, and enjoy yourselves!
