Day 1

Nairobi-Amboseli National Park

Nairobi-Amboseli National Park

Pick up and depart for Amboseli National Park. Leaving the Nairobi hustle and bustle behind, you head south across the beautiful and seemingly never ending Athi plains and arrive at Amboseli National Park at the foot of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, home to a wealth of wildlife but particularly known for its elephants.
Lunch at the lodge/camp.
Afternoon game drive in the Park.
A game drive at Amboseli take you across this vast lakebed often dry, but still very swampy in areas. Amboseli is best known for its great herds of elephant you'll often find many of them standing knee deep in the water, spraying themselves to keep cool. But there is a lot of other game here too cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, many types of gazelle and other plains game and it is all set against the amazing backdrop of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro showing all its glory.

Dinner and overnight at AA Lodge Amboseli or Similar.

Day 2

Amboseli-Tsavo West National Park

Early morning game drive in the park, breakfast at the lodge then drive Tsavo West national park.
A morning departure takes you east, across the spectacular Shetani lava flow, reminder of the molten outpouring that spilled down the scenic slopes of the nearby Chyulu Hills over the last three centuries. A zigzagging road through scrub thorn and acacia leads you into Tsavo West National Park which, together with Tsavo East, forms the largest of Kenya's parks. Spotting game as you go, by lunchtime you'll reach your Lodge for check-in and lunch.

Tsavo is Kenya's largest National Park (20,000 sq. Kms.) and is actually split into two: Tsavo East and Tsavo West. The scenery is spectacular, and so is the wildlife Tsavo is particularly known for its 'red elephants', coloured that way because of the red soil. But you'll also find rhino here, if you're lucky as well as lion, cheetah and a variety of plains game.

Day 3

Tsavo West-Nairobi

Tsavo West-Nairobi

Early morning game drive in the park then drive back to Nairobi.
After breakfast drive through Tsavo West to the town of Mtito Andei, arid boundary land of the Wakamba people, where you'll head on the main Nairobi-Mombasa road, passing through towns like Makindu, with its two ornate mosques, arriving in Kenya's bustling capital city, Nairobi by late afternoon. Drop off at your hotel or airport for your onward flight.
