Your safari adventure starts with a transfer from Johannesburg to a private game lodge

At 06h30 the scheduled transfer departs from Johannesburg (OR Tambo) Airport in comfortable 14 seater vehicles to Hoedspruit. It is a 6-hour drive to the Balule Game Reserve Gate where we meet you, your safari starts now with and a 5km game drive to the private game lodge

Arrive at this oasis around midday to a warm welcome and a cold drink. A light lunch is served looking out over the reserve, with a view over a well-frequented waterhole

In the late afternoon, arm yourself with binoculars and cameras and set off with your ranger in an open Landcruiser. Follow bush roads through our reserve in search of the many animals that make this area home including the big five. After a stop for a sun-downer drink return to the lodge after dark with the use of spotlights

Dinners are a social affair, with guests mingling with their hosts and enjoy fireside cuisine with an African influence.
Retire to your comfortable room for some rest and to prepare yourself for the excitement of the next day.

Enjoy a early morning and late afternoon game drive and relaxing day at the private game lodge

Early morning wakeup call (+- 05h00) and a welcome cup of hot coffee before embarking on the morning game drive with your ranger and returning to the lodge 3 hours later for a hearty breakfast.
After breakfast, freshen up then enjoy the lodge surroundings. Relax by spending time in or around the swimming pool or sit on the deck and wait and see which animals or birds come to the waterhole close to the lodge or have a siesta in your suite.
Enjoy lunch looking out towards a waterhole.
Late afternoon is "safari time" again. Meet your ranger and depart on the afternoon-evening game drive, stop in the bush for sundowners watching the splendor of the African sun setting over the mountains. Drinks are accompanied by snacks and some South African specialties.
After the sunset, stop the drive is continued with the aid of spotlights looking for any animals not yet spotted.
Returning after your adventure to the lodge, for a delicious dinner under the African sky.

After the moning game drive and breakfast start your journey back to Johannesbrg

Early morning wake-up call (+- 05h00) and a welcome cup of hot coffee before embarking on your last early morning game drive to enjoy the many sights & experiences with your ranger and returning to the lodge 3 hours later for a hearty breakfast.
After breakfast, freshen up you will be transferred back to the Balule Game reserve gate, your last chance to see more animals on the way to meet the scheduled shuttle minibus.
The shuttle will stop twice for refreshment breaks on the journey back and will arrive at Johannesburg (OR Tambo) Airport between 17h30 to 18h00.

Another option is a private to transfer you to Hoedspruit Airport and get the direct flight to Cape Town to carry on your amazing holiday in South Africa.
