Day 2

After breakfast, you will check out and meet your guide, who will brief you on your upcoming safari. You'll then drive to the tropical forest of Kibale National Park, home to around 70 mammal species, including chimpanzees, and over 375 bird species. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary for a walk where you can spot primates, reptiles, and other mammals, as well as enjoy sightings of over 200 bird species amid the lush vegetation. Later, you'll travel to the guest house for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast, you'll go chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest and then set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park, which was renamed in 1952 to honor Queen Elizabeth II's visit. In the park, you'll have the chance to see hippos, leopards, elephants, lions, and chimpanzees, as well as over 500 bird species. After lunch, head to Mweya Peninsula for a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, where you'll spot more hippos and crocodiles while enjoying a relaxing cruise. In the evening, return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

Today begins with an early morning game drive, where you might see over 100 mammal species, including lions, hippos, buffaloes, leopards, spotted hyenas, elephants, and the elusive giant forest hog. The park is also home to various primates such as chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, black-faced red colobus, red-tailed monkeys, and olive baboons. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel.

Today, you'll start early with a packed breakfast and head out for a morning game drive on the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park to spot early risers. Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, leopards, and hyenas. After the game drive, we'll proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 6

Today is often the highlight of the safari. After breakfast, you'll head to the park headquarters for a briefing from the park staff. Then, you'll meet your lead guide who will take you into the forest to find the gorilla family assigned to you. The trek can take between 2-7 hours round trip, depending on how far the gorilla family has moved since the previous day. After the trek, you'll proceed to Lake Bunyonyi, where you can relax and enjoy the stunning views of the lake.

Day 7

After breakfast, you will check out and drive back to Kampala. Along the way, you'll have lunch and stop at the equator for memorable photos, some shopping, and a chance to try a rolex (a popular Ugandan snack) if you'd like. Upon arrival in Kampala, you'll be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport for your flight home. This concludes your safari.
