You will be picked up at your hotel and start your approximate two hour journey to the Tarangire National Park. The park’s offerings are enormous but are best known for its savannah, seasonal swamps and baobab trees along with the large number of elephant herds. During the dry season the Tarangire river is the only source of water in the region, hence attract a considerable number of animals such as bushbucks, hartebeests and giraffes from not only the park but also from neighboring areas like Lake Manyara. You would be having an extensive game drive in the park in an open roof vehicle and then you would be driven to Migombani camp for your dinner and overnight stay.

Tarangire Area – Ngorongoro Crater – Moshi/Arusha
An early start is on the agenda today as you make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater. Once you have reached the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will descend down an adventurous path into the 600m caldera. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, this massive collapsed volcano is home to over 25 000 mammals such as spotted hyenas and the “Big Five” – elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard and lion. You will enjoy lunch at a picnic spot inside the crater, before continuing your search for wildlife still unseen. In the afternoon you will leave the conservation area and head back to Moshi/Arusha.
