You will meet your driver guide in your hotel at 8:00 a.m. then drive to Mikumi National Park, a 5-6 hour drive, arriving around 3:00 p.m. You will enjoy a game drive on the way to the hotel. In the evening after a short rest, you will walk to Maasai village for Maasai activities. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Mikumi Bastian Camp.

Early in the morning at 6:30 am, you will have breakfast, then leave the hotel with a lunch box to Mikumi National Park. It takes 15 minutes from the hotel to the park. You will have a full-day game drive looking at the animals until 5:00 p.m. This is a good time for you to drive inside the park looking at a lot of animals like elephants, hippos, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, etc. If lucky even lions and leopards. You will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Mikumi National Park – Ruaha National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Ruaha National Park and arrive in time for a hot lunch. This will be followed by game viewing in the park, which is known to be one of the more natural, unspoiled as well as one of the largest parks of Africa. Ruaha National Park is one of Tanzania’s famous wilderness areas where one can have a rare experience of game viewing spiced up by the fascinating landscape. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Ruaha Bandas.

In the morning after breakfast, you will have a full day of game viewing in the park. The exciting Great Ruaha River features large numbers of hippos and crocodiles and attracts lions, leopards, hunting dogs, and other species such as waterbucks, impalas, giraffes, warthogs, elands, zebras, and elephants. Grant’s gazelles, ostriches, and cheetahs may be seen on the plains.

Ruaha National Park to Udzungwa Mountains National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Udzungwa National Park. You will arrive there late afternoon. Udzungwa is the largest and with the most biodiversity and a chain of a dozen large forest-swathed mountains that rise majestically from the flat coastal scrub of eastern Tanzania. Your overnight stay will be at the Twiga Hotel.

Udzungwa National Park to Dar es Salaam
In the morning after breakfast at 6:30 am, you will transfer to Udzungwa Mountain to trek the mountain through Sanje Waterfalls. It takes 6 to 7 hours to climb to the top and come down. There are nice views from the top and at the same time you can swim. You will have lunch there, and drive back to Dar es Salaam, where you will arrive in the evening.
