Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You'll be picked up from your hotel at 8:30 am and driven to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs and up to six thousand elephants. The park is perfect for bird watching as the park has over 300 species of birds. We'll go to the campsite in the evening for dinner and stay overnight stay.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park

Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti which means "endless plains" in the Maasai language, in search of large predators and gentle herbivores on which they feed. We'll drive and stop for lunch at the Naabi Hill gate of Serengeti National Park. After lunch, we open the roof of the vehicle for a game drive as we head to our campsite for dinner and our overnight stay.

Option
On the way to Serengeti, there are about 4 Maasai villages where tourists have opportunities to visit. If you are interested at an extra cost, we can visit and experience the life of the Maasai people.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will have a morning game drive in the plains of the Serengeti, with a picnic lunch until afternoon. Later, we'll proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to sleep.
We will have a game drive as we head to the Naabi Hill gate. We'll have lunch at the gate and then start to head to Ngorongoro.

Optional
To visit the Olduvai Gorge museum at an extra cost of USD $17 per person.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive exploring the short-grass plains and Lake Magadi of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles and is alive with lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, buffalo, hippos and much more wildlife. If you are lucky, you may see the rare black rhino. Later, you will ascend to the top and proceed to the camp for your overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

We will drive to Lake Manyara National Park in the Great Rift Valley. After a picnic lunch in the park—home to tree-climbing lions, colourful birds, elephants and hippos—we will have an afternoon game drive. Later, we will drive back to Arusha.
