After an early morning breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe, your driver-guide will meets & greets you. Shortly after the safari briefing depart & head north of kampala through the districts of Luweero and Masindi to Murchison Falls National Park. Pass through the traditional farms & villages, stopping at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Wildlife Ranch for rhino trekking. Stop in Masindi town for lunch en-route & to re-fuel. Afterwards proceed & make a stopover at the top of Murchison Falls, the majestic falls, where the Nile crashes through a 7 metres gorge to fall 45m. The numerous scenic viewpoints are a spectacular & the most impressive view is of the falls. The Uganda chimpanzee trekking experience is a unique opportunity that will allow you to follow a chimpanzee group in its daily activities. Accompanying Kibale reserve researchers & rangers, you will be on the forest floor to watch the chimps search for their fruits & vocalizing. Then you will follow them for an hour observing the full gamut of their behavior. In the afternoon, head to a fantastic launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel & observe beautiful birds & wildlife. To go Rwanda gorilla trekking today, a trekking ticket at USD$1,500 is required additional and Alternatively, you will go for a Bisoke hike. Mount Bisoke adventure is one of the most memorable activities in Rwanda. The top of this volcano has a spectacular crater lake. It is simply a 6-hour hike including the 2 hours descending down to the starting point. Experienced hikers can get to the top of this mountain in a matter of 3 hours or even less and return to the base in about an hour. On the day of hiking, hikers converge at the park headquarters at Kinigi at 7:00 am to attend a briefing and be assigned a park ranger. The park rangers are usually natives of the Volcanoes National Park vicinity and thus very knowledgeable about mountain adventures. Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge or similar.
