From your residence in Entebbe, your driver-guide will meet you. Shortly after the safari briefing, you'll transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. The drive through the tea estates and farmland gives you a glimpse of Uganda's beauty. In the afternoon, you will do the Bigodi Wetlands Community walk. Your overnight stay will be at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge or similar.

After an early morning breakfast, you'll transfer to the Kanyanchu Visitors Center. At Kanyanchu, you will meet with a senior ranger guide who will lead the hike in the forest while searching for a family of chimpanzees. When you find them, you're permitted to be with them for an hour. Afterward, you will return to the starting point for issuance of a trekking certificate. After this amazing adventure, you'll transfer to Rwenzori Mountains National Park ahead of your Rwenzori Mountain hiking and trekking adventure. Your overnight stay will be at Trekkers Hostel.

Day 3

You'll have a briefing from the guides and start the trek. You'll hike to Sine Camp at 2,596m. The hike will take you through the tall forest trees of the Afro montane forest zone. This is a steady climb for about 6 kilometers then along a steep climb towards Sine hut. The hike will offer you lots of plant and flower species to view, birds, and a chance to see some animal species like Colobus monkeys. Covering 9.5km approximately 5 - 6 hours of walking.

Day 4

Rwenzori Mountain Trekking, Climbing and Hiking to Mutinda Camp

You'll hike to Mutinda Camp at 3,588m, through the Bambo and Heather-Rapanea Zone. You'll be following the trail while it meanders up and over several small knolls along a ridge top and drops down the side of the valley. It crosses several small streams and passes close to moss-covered waterfalls with unique beautiful plant and flower species found above 3,000m like Giant Heather trees. Its trunks are covered in green moss with old man beards (Usnea lichen) hanging from the branches. You'll approach Mutinda camp which is set near a small river and waterfall. In the afternoon, you have an option of summiting Mutinda lookout at 3975m. You'll be covering 6.1 km, approximately 6 to 8 hrs of walking to Mutinda Camp.

The fourth day takes you through the valley of amazingly unique beautiful plant species, streams, and waterfalls while you head to Bugata camp at 4,062M. The trek gets tougher and exhausting with the steep ridges, mud and boggy sections, and high steps but the rewards are enormously beautiful.

Day 6

From Bugata Camp, you will get up early and head for the summit of Weismanns Peak at 4620 meters. After the summit, you will start to descend through a different route which makes the loop. Thus, you'll descend the Nyamwamba Valley to Kiharo Camp at 3,430m for the night. It’s 3.7 km to the peak and a total of approximately 9 km down to Kiharo camp taking 8 to 10 hours.

You'll descend downhill past the moss-covered rocks along rivers and beautiful forests back to the base camp in Kilembe. You'll have 14.6 km and 7-9 hrs of walking down to the base camp. This will be followed by a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park marking the end of the 5-day Rwenzori Mountain trekking, climbing, and hiking trip. Your overnight stay will be at Bush Lodge.

An early morning breakfast will be followed by a transfer to Kasenyi for a game drive. Kasenyi Plains has the highest concentration of prey that attracts predators and creates chances to encounter some of the big cats present in Queen Elizabeth National Park while on this game drive adventure. In the afternoon, you'll participate in the boat cruise at Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. During the two-hour boat cruise safari, a lot of aquatic, semiaquatic, terrestrial, and birdlife will be encountered marking the greatest day in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will be led by a ranger guide and hike up into the volcanoes in search of these endangered monkeys and after you find them, you’ll be allowed to stay with them for an hour and then return to the trailhead to begin your journey to Kigali, Rwanda.
