After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti National Park, enjoying game drives along the way while crossing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You have the option to visit Olduvai Gorge en route. Olduvai Gorge is renowned for the archaeological discoveries made by the Leakeys, who unearthed some of the oldest prehistoric human remains. A small museum documents their work. A visit here costs an additional $35 per person.
The Serengeti name originates from the Masai word "Siringeti," meaning endless plains. Serengeti National Park
Around 6:00am (before breakfast) we’ll embark on a sunrise game drive. This is the best time to witness the Serengeti at its most active. Guides will bring you as close to wildlife action as possible. As few predators actively hunt during the heat of the day, the early morning becomes the prime time to observe the thrill of the chase. It is also a magical time, with the subtle light dappling the landscape, the birds awakening, and the sense of a great adventure beginning to unfurl. This game drive lasts for 1-2 hours, after which you’ll return to the lodge for breakfast and some brief relaxing.
Following a hot lunch around 2:00pm, you’ll head back into the bush for an evening game drive. This time of day carries its own excitement and character, as predators begin their nightly search for prey. As the day cools and the sky is streaked by red, gold, and orange hues, you may be surprised by the roar of a lion or a galloping giraffe. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart at 6:00am from the Serengeti on a game drive en route to Ngorongoro. Descend over 600 meters into the crater to observe the wildlife here. Supported by a year-round water supply and rich fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area sustains a vast variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another major attraction of this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, featuring lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which may require a trained eye to spot.
During the visit, we will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which stands out as one of the main features of the crater. This lake is often inhabited by a large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
