Day 1
Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Today we’ll start our safari in Tarangire National Park, a very special wildlife reserve where winding waterways course through thick bush, birdsong fills the air, and scattered baobab trees define the skyline. Tarangire lies only two hours west of Arusha, so we’ll get an early start this morning and spend most of our day in the park.
Elephants are especially numerous here, and you can expect to see your first herds within minutes of our arrival. In the dry season when water is scarce, we’ll also be able to find plains game like wildebeest, zebras, and giraffe in astounding numbers, as they congregate along the banks of the Tarangire River. This evening, we’ll drive and check in at Jua Manyara Campsite which is located in Mto wa Mbu at the Rift Valley Wall.

Day 2
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch boxes. You will have a game drive en route towards the park. Dinner and overnight will be at Seronera Camp Site
This land is justifiably famous for its huge concentrations of wildlife, especially the big cats. It is also well known as being the stomping ground of the Great Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretching their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival. The Serengeti is broadly divided into three distinct areas, the Seronera Valley and Seronera River, the Western Corridor and the Northern Lobo area that extends northwards through the Lamai Wedge to the Maasai Mara. Most visitors enter the Serengeti through the southern Naabi Hill Gate, which opens onto the Seronera Valley - a vibrant wildlife area at the heart of the Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro
Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro
After breakfast you will go into the Serengeti for a game drive and then return to the camp for a hot lunch. You will then drive to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite
The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact caldera and is in an exceptional geographical position, forming a spectacular bowl of about 265 sq km with sides up to 600m deep. It is the stalking ground of 20-30,000 wild animals at any given time. Although animals are free to move in and out of this contained environment, the rich volcanic soil, lush forests and spring source lakes on the crater floor tend to inspire both grazers and predators to remain throughout the year. The crater is also the most likely place in Tanzania where you might see the endangered Black Rhino, as a small population is thriving in this idyllic and protected environment. Indeed, the crater is one of the only areas where they continue to breed in the wild.
