Day 1

After breakfast, meet the driver guide at your hotel in Arusha at 08:30am, drive about 1.5hrs to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive.

Tarangire National Park covers 2,600 square kilometers and at dry times, the concentration of animal’s rivals that of the much better known Serengeti – the game numbers are staggering: E.g. 30,000 Zebras, 25,000 Wildebeests, 5,000 Buffaloes, 3,000 Elephants, 2,500 Maasai Giraffes and over 1,000 Fringe-eared Oryx’s (gemsbok), Predators include Lions, Cheetah and Leopards.

Also flocks of birds: E.g. Green Wood Hoopoes, Fisher Lovebirds, white bellied go-away birds and giant kingfishers. Dinner and overnight at Twiga campsite.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park-game drive

After early breakfast have a full day game drive en-route with lunch box to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation area.

The vast Serengeti Plains, home to a huge variety of animals and birds, Search among the trees and Kopjes for the elusive Leopards and cheetah as well as Wildebeest Migration.

Dinner and overnight at Pimbi campsite.

Day 3

Early at 5:30am take your breakfast and proceed for sunrise game viewing till 8:00am drive back to the camp for breakfast.

After breakfast pack your luggage, then proceed for a full day game drive en-rote with hot lunch to Ngorongoro Conservation area via Olduvai Gorge Historical site, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, the anthropologists Dr. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution.

In this area you will see a lot of Birds and Wild animals e.g Elephants, Bufaloes, Bushbacks, zebras, Monkeys etc. Late evening drive to Simba Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater-game drive into the crater floor

At 06:00am have breakfast and then descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater floor for a 6 hour game viewing with picnic lunch box.

The Ngorongoro crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque National Park, is it’s dense population of Predators, which include Lions, Hyenas, Jackals, Cheetahs and the ever-elusive Leopards, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.

Visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of Flamingos, Hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here.

Late evening drive back to your hotel in arusha Town.
