Nairobi/Ol Pejeta Game Sanctuary

Pick up this morning will either be from the airport or your Nairobi accommodation. You'll then depart for your safari driving through the main farming areas of Kenya with pineapple, coffee and a variety of fruit trees and an assortment of fresh produce. We will have a stopover at the open-air Karatina market, which is the biggest farm produce market in the region. You will arrive in time for lunch at Sweet Waters Serena Camp. Later, you will proceed on a game drive where you will have a chance of seeing both white and black rhino, elephant, spotted hyena, lion, cheetah, black-backed jackal, the bat-eared fox, the elusive leopard, hippo, Grevy’s zebra, Jackson’s hartebeest among other wild. You will also visit the Chimp Sanctuary which provides refuge to orphaned and abused chimpanzees. Return to Sweet Waters Serena Camp to wait for dinner. Optional night game drive is offered here together with other camp clients using camp vehicle. Your overnight stay is at Sweet Waters Serena Camp.

Have an early morning game drive at Ol Pejeta Game Sanctuary followed by breakfast then depart for Isiolo and continue with your safari to Samburu Buffalo Springs Game Reserve. It offers dramatic scenery and is fed by Ewasa Nyiro river. Lunch will be served at Ashnil Samburu Camp. You will spend 2 full days exploring Buffalo Springs Game Reserve with chances of seeing the rare long-necked gerenuk, elephants, buffaloes, the rare Grevy's, elands, lion, cheetah, leopard not forgetting different species of birds. Optional visit to Samburu cultural village. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Ashnil Samburu Camp.

Samburu Buffalo Springs Game Reserve/Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Later, depart from Samburu with an optional visit to Samburu cultural village en route. Proceed to Nanyuki where you will have a stopover at the equator for photo and demonstration of how water spins North and South of the Equator. You will arrive in Nairobi in time to be dropped off either at your Nairobi accommodation or airport for your onward journey connections.
