Day 1
Arrival in Maun Airport

Your professional guide will meet you upon your arrival at Maun Airport. We will then have the option of shopping in town to change our currency before heading to our accommodation. Lunch and dinner will be prepared, depending on your time of arrival. After dinner, we will have a brief discussion about what to bring and what to expect from our itinerary. We will spend our night in the camp.

Day 2
Maun to Moremi Game Reserve
Maun to Moremi Game Reserve
We will depart the camp after our breakfast and drive to the western tip of the Okavango Delta to go on a traditional canoe (mokoro). On arrival at the mokoro station, we will find our polers waiting to take us on the journey to the main channel of the delta. We will stop on one of the islands and enjoy our lunch, and do a bushwalk on the island afterward. If we are lucky, we will see zebras and elephants from a distance. After the bushwalk, we continue with the mokoro and return to the station where we will find our guide waiting for us. We will then continue to Moremi Game Reserve where we will spend the night camping.

Day 3
Moremi Game Reserve
Moremi Game Reserve
After wake-up, we do the morning game drive for a few hours and then return to the camp for lunch and rest. Later, we do the evening drive to cover some of the areas we didn’t manage in the morning. On arrival at the campsite, we will find our prepared meals and hot water for us to bathe. We will discuss the following day's itinerary and spend the night in our camping tents.

Day 4
Moremi Game Reserve to Khwai Concession Area

We wake up early in the morning and drive to the Okavango Delta to do a boat cruise for 2 hours. We will have our packed lunch with us which we will enjoy after the cruise. We then continue our journey to the Khwai Concession area where we will spend a night. Please note that during our drive to Khwai, we will see animals along the way and have time to stop and take photos.

Day 5
Khwai Concession Area

We wake up early in the morning for the game drive in the Khwai Concession area. The Khwai village is rich in habitat and wildlife. The animals are attracted to the narrow ribbon of water (the Khwai River) which provides for some spectacular wildlife viewing. This is an area where lions and leopards may be seen. There is a healthy population of plains game, including kudu, impala, giraffe and zebra. On our way from the drive, we will enjoy our brunch and rest at the camping site. Later in the evening, we do an evening drive. All meals will be prepared by the chef at the campsite.

Day 6
Khwai to Savuti
Khwai to Savuti
We wake up early in the morning and drive to the Savuti, and we will see animals along the way. We will spend a night in the Savuti area. The area is renowned for its sightings of lion and hyena, as well as for supporting a large population of bull elephants. Cheetah can often be seen on the plains around the marshes, and the many rocky outcrops mean that leopard are common, as are the agile little klipspringer antelope.

Day 7
Savuti to Chobe National Park
Savuti to Chobe National Park
After our breakfast, we drive to Chobe National Park. The park's main geographical features are lush floodplains and dense woodland of mahogany, teak and other hardwoods (now largely reduced by heavy elephant pressure). We have our morning game drive for some hours then return to the campsite to rest and enjoy our afternoon meal. On arrival at the campsite, we will find our dinner prepared by the chef, as well as prepared hot water ready for a bath.

Day 8
Chobe to Victoria Falls
Chobe to Victoria Falls
We wake up early and drive to Zimbabwe to visit Victoria Falls. Depending on the activities, we will spend the day at the falls. All activities are optional and are excluded from the budget, meaning clients will have to pay for their own meals as well. A transfer to the airport will be arranged.
