Day 1

We will meet and welcome you upon arrival in Nairobi. After a short briefing you will leave on a road trip to Amboseli National park which is close to the border of Kenya and Tanzania. You check in at Kibo Safari Camp Amboseli in time for lunch. After lunch you will go for an afternoon game drive till evening.
Amboseli is home to the African elephant and during this tour you are likely to encounter large herds of elephants as they cross from one side of the park to the next.
Big cats are also common in this park. They include lions, leopard and cheetah among others. You have best chances to see the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 2
Enter the wilderness of Tsavo West
Enter the wilderness of Tsavo West
Wake up early to see the sunrise over the imposing Kilimanjaro, then after breakfast you’ll continue your safari onto Tsavo West, which is about a 2-hour drive. The drive to Tsavo is mostly through wilderness and you will pass by some interesting lava flows on the way. You’ll be staying at the stunning Serena Kilaguni situated inside the park; which is a game-viewing lodge over-looking its own watering hole that can have daily visits from elephants and many other plains mammals. You’ll arrive in time for lunch, and then you’ll be taken on a late afternoon game drive and a visit to the Mzima Springs where you may see hippos and Nile crocodiles and many different bird species. You’ll return to Kilaguni for dinner and spend your evening relaxing and watching the wildlife arrive at the watering hole overlooked by the lodge’s restaurant.

Day 3
And onto the scrublands of Tsavo East and the Galana river

After breakfast you’ll leave Kilaguni and head out on a game drive before entering Tsavo East; a plateau of open grassland with giant baobab trees - you'll get a great feeling of being out in the wilderness here. Arriving in time for lunch at Ashnil’s Aruba, situated on the banks of the Aruba dam and has a choice of luxury tents and chalets, there is a swimming pool and souvenir shop and the restaurant overlooks the dam. There are also several watering holes nearby that attract wildlife such as elephant and other plains mammals. You’ll have some time to relax and take in the surroundings and views before taking an afternoon game drive to explore the park and you can also visit the Lugards Falls on the Galana river and also Mudanda Rock, a large, prominent, towering rock formation that attracts elephants and other wildlife and if you are lucky, leopard can also be found here.

Day 4
Tsavo East National Park to Nairobi
Tsavo East National Park to Nairobi
After an early breakfast you will check out of the lodge. You will have a last game drive through the park with good chances to see Big Cats hunting or sharing a kill. Some of the elusive animals like the leopard may be seen. Alternatively you can have a relaxed morning at the lodge and check out at 10 am. Afterwards you leave Tsavo East National Park towards Nairobi where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Drop off can be at your hotel in Nairobi or airport.
